I've been listening to Machine 15 for about a week now. By now I've had enough time to sort through my feelings of Millencolin's latest album, and I'm pleased. I really like Machine 15, even though the album is split into two types of songs. I see Machine 15 as a progression from Home From Home and Kingwood. I don't think that Machine 15 is the best album from Millencolin. But I believe, given their maturation, that it is a great offering.
You can tell that there are two different types of songs: Pop Punk & Millencolin Rock. I think Machine 15 suffers from an identity crisis and this leads us to question where they plan on taking their style for their future albums. I honestly don't mind the Millencolin Rock sound that they displayed on Machine 15 - I just wish all 15 tracks (or 13 songs) had the same styling but then again Kingwood didn't, and I really like it... I like the lead-in for Who's Laughing Now, but I could have done without End Piece.
Great Songs: Machine 15 Done Is Done Vicious Circles Who's Laughing Now Route One Saved By Hell
Good Songs: Detox Come One Broken World Brand New Game Turnkey Paradise Danger for Stranger
Songs I Don't Care For: Ducks & Drakes
I think that Who's Laughing Now is the strongest track on Machine 15.

i dont know why most of you guys dont like the song "ducks & drakes". nikola is turning his inside out in this song. just pay attention to the lyrics and be aware of what they are about, if you listen to it next time. it really disappoints me somehow. coz you guys were always talking about how great the lyrics of nikola were etc. and the song ducks & drakes should make your skin freezing if you know what it is about.

nana, i dont talk about the song's tune. i mean the lyrics. and its surprising me that you guys talk so bad about this song - coz im sure those words mean a lot to nikola (equal to lock-sport-krock). it does scare me that hes still fighting with this happening so hard. thats all

The video on this DVD: 1. No Cigar 2. Bullion 3. Man Or Mouse 4. Material Boy 5. Duckpond 6. Kemp I want it... It's bad that it's only a Limited Edition... dont know what to say about this DVD. its not that great. just the first time i see millencolin acting with fire on stage. the other way its almost the same as the live vid "live @ big day out in melbourne". same songs, same beginning/ending of the show, same clothes ( ) etc.

I have to say that the album has really grown on me. The review I did is not worth anything right now, because at this moment I fucking love machine 15. I think I'll delete that review I wasn't being openminded when I first heard it. I admit I was being too harsh
