I'm listening to the song "Two Fuses" by Strike Anywhere and I can't help but be reminded of Millencolin when I hear the song. The vocals are obviously different and Strike Anywhere generally scream more often than Nikola ever will in the span of Millencolin's career.
No screaming in here--but background shouting for this song.
"This sounds melancholy--like Millencolin's style." Karro (being the first to actually notice) pointed out. I do see similarities here. Unfortunately, there are no links to the song so I do recommend you guys downloading it from a p2p program.

The basic is the same but in general this song is not like Millencolin. I didn't mean it in this way. I just felt the same melancholy in the song than in Millencolin's. Just about the emotion not the music. Sorry.

I still see it but I don't see a strong influence in there. After all, Strike Anywhere is influenced by The Smiths and I hardly see any indication of that in their music. Plus this thread was an excuse for you guys to listen to my other favorite band.

Good ol' Morrissey. Passive agressive and depressed broad he is.
He can sing the most wrecthed things about himself and manage to have happy go lucky music accompanying it. Sometimes I wonder whether I should laugh or cry upon hearing his music.
