mumsfilibabba! (meaning "oh so good!") lol... that's some funny-sounding quote. even though i live in a very diverse area of the country, i don't see any swedes. the only thing that comes close to that is, like i mentioned, the IKEA. but i still need to go there and give the food a try. i guess it won't be any smörgasbord, though.

Swedes don't sprout around. It's weird that I got the chance to work with 2 and improve my swedish skills at the same time. Imagine my astonishment the day Ive found at my job this antique swedish radio, a Telefunken. I mean woow don't even need to travel in my case to see the swedish piece of artefact. Even my boss doesnt even remembe how he got acquisition of it....lol

This is weird! Since a month, I'm cooking alot of meal and I bring them for dinner at my job. I made them taste my cocoction and last thursday I brought eggplant balls. They liked it so much that my co-worker asked me to make him lunch and that he will pay me 5$ per day I bring one. At the end of the day, my other co-worker asked me the same thing and then I was on the go and my 2 boss asked me also the same. So last friday, I brought veggie swedish meatballs with mashed potatos I've made 20 bucks out of it. They liked it so much that they asked more for the next week! I'm in business guys

Yeah, in plus that besides the Ikea, there is not swedish restaurant in Quebec or I guess in America..hahha Anyway, Swedish food is similar to traditional Quebec foods without all those fish issues (but we got the rainbow trut). I don't know if that would be popular at all cause of the similarities and we dont find typical Quebecer food restaurants neither.

You guys are making me so hungry! *insert drool emoticon*
When I ate meat, I remember trying Swedish meatballs and they were so good! I really want some vegetarian ones right now. Mmmmm. They sell Swedish cookies at the local bulk food store. I have yet to to try Swedish vegetarian foods.
Ewwww. Torture pie. Even when I ate meat I hated meat pie. It was disgusting. Everyone should have poutine from Mondo Fritz when they come to Montreal.

Hej Chast. I make amazing swedish veggie "meat"balls. I got the receipe from internet. Thus they arent vegan cause of the egg and the cream for the sauce I wish I could make them for you! oh and tonight ive made veggie bodycakes. Its strange but when I try to cook with meat I fail my receipe. when I use veggie, I succeed
