Oh Ahhnold. It seems that the stuff that my boyfriend and I believe in--Ahnold seems to be supporting it. Hmm maybe I shouldn't have underestimated him...

no, chastity. you didn't underestimate arnold. i live in california, and i can tell you that i'm ashamed to have him as our governor. he's a terribile politician that can't speak, has no real insight, has an ugly-ass wife, can't pronounce "california", vetos vital laws, and is an over-all fraud. people in the US are above-and-beyond stupid (i mean, c'mon... people here are actually willing to vote for bush - and that says a lot about the people).

yeah man, how come this terrible actor - zero poltician became the governor of one the most important states in US?
i think the answer is in what you said: "people in the US are above-and-beyond stupid"

that's the only way i can rationalize their decision. people in america are so fickle and easly pushed around by his so-called "starr appeal". like you said, he's not even a good "actor". it's beyond me as to how people like him get to be in the positions they're in.

I don't agree with Americans voting for these actors and wrestlers and such. I think these celebrities would have more credibility in politics if they have some sort of political science background. Other than that, I feel Americans have achieved that level of idiocy for even considering Ahnold.
On the other hand, I am an actress. I'm not some big Hollywood one but at the same time I am fascinated with world issues. If I were to ever achieve that high level of fame and decided to run for anything involving politics, I wouldn't exactly want people going "What the hell does she know? She's an actress!" After all, some of my acting has some activism incorporated (I am with a theatre company that strives to take down racial barriers and deals with world issues but puts a human face behind it) with it and when I'm not acting, I'm out there doing protests or writing letters to the government or participating in a campaign.
Now, has Reagan or Ahnold ever have experience with politics? I don't know because I didn't research them. However, if there was a big controversy about Reagan, I can imagine he didn't have a background. Maybe I'm wrong.

After all isn't Schwarsunfgmfemsjsdneshnegger's fault, he's there because of the voters...
So who's gonna substitute him, Lassie?

cheating or no cheating, bush was a terrible governor. he ran in 2000 as the great educational reformer, yet he has yet to talk about the ever-growing problem that is the american public school system or presented a solition for it. in his state of texas (where he's heralded for his educational advances ironically enough) he managed to obtain higher test scores by placing students who didn't meet the "high" standards of the state placed into special categories that weren't taken into account. basically, bush wrote them off. the plan eventually bled into his presidency and was again ironically titiled his "no child left behind" plan. it was texas all over again, but this time on a federal level. i don't understand how americans thought that he, a man who is incapable of formulating proper and complete sentences, was the answer to our educational woes. as a country, we all need to wake up from our gloriously delluded dream and realize the state in which we presemtly find ourselves in.
