I plan on getting some tattoos in the very, very near future. The process of my design selection has been done with much caution and much prefectionism on my part. I think my obsessive compulsive tendencies shone through considering I have been wanting tattoos for a good 8 years. Anyway, my answer to my question concerning a Millencolin tattoo would be a no. Why? Because I would be so afraid of jinxing my interest in them thus, let's say 10 years down the road, smeone blurts out "you're a Millencolin fan?! and I reply with a "meh, I'm no longer a Millencolin fan" but ironically have this tattoo of that cute deceased bird adorning my skin. I can imagine that getting specific designs attached to certain things can be a huge jinx. For example: Getting your significant other's name tattooed on your ass. Would any of you get an MC tattoo? Would any of you NOT get one? Why or why not?

I guess you could insert an MC reference in a tatoo instead of getting a MC-only one. That way, people won't only see the MC reference.
What kind of tatoo do you want? Something really clean (one or 2 colors, nothing complicated) or something fancier (a nice drawing)?

you could always do what that guy in florida did when he got millencolin to go to a tattoo shop and tattoo their signatures on him.

No, I will never get a tattoo, I think. I don't like it. If I get one, it'll have something to do with my future wife.

a millencolin tattoo on my chest!?.....no! but a small one would be cool, somewhere on the arms, something very personal, something that you always remains to your "young" years
but two arms full of tattoo, just as larzon has, would be awesome, it just looks beautiful! but, in our society it's hard to get a job this way....so let it be

My boyfriend really wants a bird tattoo. He has been fascinated by birds his entire life. Maybe I'll show him MC's logo...

If I'd have one day to get a tatoo, I guess it would be on my ankle. If I could advise you, I think that your tatoo is first for you. The opinion of your bf is not really important... Of course you could ask to him what he thinks about it. but if this tatoo enjoy you... Don't hesitate Chas !

I would like to get my whole back tattooed. I'm thinking of it for about 2 years now. The back cause it's easier to hide. I wouldn't get it on my arms like my friend julie. She got some problems for the jobs and I don't want it. It's sure that for real estate, I'm better to get no more tatoos. You can hide it easily on the back yeah but when we hit summer in MOntreal and it's about 40ยบ C and you sweat one pool of water, it's fine to get a bit of your arm and back uncovered. I like to wear those tube top so.

Correction: tattoos not tattoo. Let's run down the list of body parts: -shoulder -collar bone -forearm -wrist -ankle -breast (still contemplating that) -back of leg -side of torso -panty line -hip -back: where the bra can be undone (am I making sense?) -arm I might have missed mentioning a body part. Absolutely not. I was supposed to get this angel tattoo on my left shoulder and it was a really hard decision for me as to what the angel would look like. Would it be really fancy and painting-like? Or would it be simple? The angel tattoo was supposed to be a homage (for those who do not understand the word, it means tribute) to this drawing that my sister drew for me when I was 16. I know the following will sound really messed up and weird but the day I got back from my deadly stay at the hospital last year, my sister found an angel was drawn into my drawing and she swore she never put it in there. After many confirmations that no one had touched the drawing, we came to the conclusion that it was some sort of sign that there was some sort of higher power that kept me alive. In the drawing, the angel appeared above my left shoulder. It was drawn in a very simple manner. I asked my boyfriend whether I should get an angel all fancied up and he suggested I get the one in the drawing despite the fact that it was such a simple design. "Getting some beautiful, complicated angel design defeats the purpose of your paying tribute to the angel in the drawing. It's much better if you get the exact same thing as what was drawn." He was right. As for tattoos and jobs, I think it is wrong to discriminate an individual for having artwork on their skin. I act and I have heard it is so hard to start off on the right foot when you have tattoos. The thing is though, I absolutely adore art and that of course includes, tattoos. It's who I am and it's painful to know that I would have to deny myself of this because of my other love. Xavier, do you have any peers in the theatre community who are covered in tattoos?
