INTRODUCTION:
Hi everyone. I just spent a few hours of solid research on Millencolin's "Mooseman's Jukebox" song, and found some VERY intersting stuff. Well, if you don't already know, it has a whole bunch of song titles arranged in clever ways to make the verses of the song. I tried to figure out exactly what songs Nikola was referring to. I used the All Music Guide (www.allmusic.com) Here's what I found out. Yes, I am a Millencolin fanatic.
FINDINGS:
take warning operation ivy
boxer Across the Border? (cover of a Paul Simon song)
i threw it all away Bob Dylan
+she the dickies? green day? the misfits? pulley? kiss^^?

there'll be no tears tonight (i have no clue^^^)
wheeler fireside
+silverbells (the christmas song?)
ten minutes the get up kids
welcome to paradise green day? ride^^^^?
paralysed ride^^^^
WHAT THE SYMBOLS MEAN:
? means i'm not very sure, no question mark means i'm like 90 to 100% sure
+ means that there were at least 100 matches for this song title
* "get it rite" and "can't make me" are on the same album
** the composer of the ventures' vesion of "Let's go" has the last name "Duncan"
*** remember, Millencolin did a parody of a Madonna song (turning "Material Girl" into "Material Boy"), as well as referencing Madonna in "Devil Me"
**** Millencolin's song "Devil Me" references Superchunk
^ i recall reading an interview with Millencolin where one of the guys said that his favorite European band was Europe (jokingly, i think)
^^ i really don't imagine Nikola likes Kiss, but the only "shandi" match is a Kiss song. so i guess he does...
^^^ 86 matches, most of which are Country songs, so it's hard to say
^^^^ one of Ride's more well known songs is called "Polar Bear". sound familiar? (see Millencolin's Pennybridge Pioneers LP, "Penguins and Polar Bears")
EDIT Oct 9, 2005: I added the Modonna "Devil Me" reference and removed some question marks.
