Listen to Millencolin at AMPM's and BP's.
At participating AM PM and BP mini markets, there is a promotion going on where if you buy a drink from the soda fountain you can get a free minidisc of music from Millencolin's new album, "kingwood".
That's cool but where is this soda fountain whit the mini disc!?

ewwwwww...I don't drink sodas. This is a weird promotion. Sounds very corporative and then encourage youngness to drink this crap and become addicted to it and then fat and then those soda companies make more and more money and doesn't care about anyone but their profits...

In with the socialist/anarchist/political rant... I wholeheartedly agree with Karro. I'm not here to bitch (I am trying hard to break that habit) but I think that is such a tainted thing to do. I know it's bad enough with Vans but Vans is a whole lot different than say, Coca Cola. Vans specifically makes shoes for skaters and punk music has been rampant in the skateboarding culture. But Coca Cola (or insert whatever soft drink brand)? After a long, hard, sweaty day of thrashing up ramps and half pipes, you quench your thirst with soda? Speaking healthwise, that is quite gross. Then again, don't listen to my opinion because I like to chug pints, down tequila straight and swig a bottle of Jack Daniels. I guess whatever rocks Millencolin's boat. I think I am a lot more worried about capitalism seeping into punk than the emo/screamo/metalcore genre. |
