Disclaimer: Pardon the name dropping
Actually, I'm not too too sure that he is their roadie/merch guy. I know for sure he works for the band and goes touring with them. Lucky bastard! (Insert fantasies of going on the road with a band as a merch girl...) We recently had quite the interesting conversation concerning Millencolin matters.
Anyways. Let me introduce you to Max. Way back in 2002, Max and I bumped into each other at a Lagwagon show. Then we became each other's MSN buddies. Then we would pass each other by on the downtown streets of Montreal, looking each other in the eyes but too shy to even utter a single hello. {blablablabla....}
Fast forward a few years. Max ends up working for Roses Are Red (the more I mention this, the more I envy him--I seriously have to go out on the road for a band. If any of you musician forumers are going to tour any time soon, feel free to kidnap me and force me to join your tour and exploit me by selling your merch). One day as I was wasting my life away on my computer, Max comes out of nowhere on MSN, drunk off of Lance's (Millencolin's manager) beers.
Max: I have two members of Millencolin's AIM on my computer!
Me: Okay, then who are those two members?
Max: I don't know.
Me: Dude, you are lying!
Max: No! I swear!
Me: Yep yep. I still don't believe you.
Max: I'm at Lance's house. I'm on his computer. I'm in California.
Me: Whoa whoa whoa. Since when did you go to California? What are you doing there? Why are you there?
Max: We're not going on tour until next week. I'm staying here for awhile. Plus I'm drinking all his beers. I'm drunk.
What followed this conversation was random crap about beers and how he was going to go to the beach.
I think I am missing details here though.
