Something, that was one of the first things I noticed on the new album, is the lack of instrumental intros. They start with the singing directly. I'm not saying this is a bad thing, I like it a lot. It's just that it's different.
5 songs of 12 doesn't have any intro (Birdie, Cash or Clash, Biftek Supernova, Ray and Stalemate). That's appr. 40%!
The other albums: Tiny Tunes - 1 song (mr clean) = 8%. Life On A Plate - 1 song (Vulcan ears) = 7,5% For Monkeys - 2 songs (Lozin' Must, Random I Am) = 17% Pennybridge Pioneers - 3 (If you count the ballad, though it has a drum intro +Hellman, devil me) = 21% Home From Home - 0 or 2, depending on how to see (Man or Mouse and Fuel To the Flame) = 0% or 15%
And now, the new album. 5 songs! Of 12! Almost 40%.
has anybody else noticed this?

Yes, I did. I found it rather cool, especially in "Stalemate" adding to the repeating of the last word of the sentence.

Ok. yeah, I love the verses in Stalemate. They are much better then the refrain. Though the refrain stuck in my head

like most people have said, this is a very evolved CD. also, the style of the CD is firmly felt throughout the entire CD, whereas HFH was a variety of different sounds. but in any case, awesome CD.

Absolutely!
It evolved so much to the point where Nikola's voice is almost unrecognizable (okay okay, I admit, that was an exaggeration).
I'm probably going to sound like a ditz but doesn't No Cigar have an intro going on? It seems like it to me. *feels like a bad fan*

And there is less guitar solo than in the other album...

Yeah, Novo's guitars effect is very space. I love it so much.
