What were the best and worst Millencolin shows that you have gone to? Why?
Best:
Edgefest 2001. Simply because it holds much nostalgia for me. It was also the first time where I got to see Millencolin play live. (The first time was at the Warped Tour but I was too busy sitting down in some lineup for something, shame on me) I loved absolutely every song they played and even sang the lyrics as people stood silently.
Worst:
November 26, 2003 @ Metropolis. Why do I remember the exact date of this? Because I was hospitalized EXACTLY a year after this show took place.
Aside from that my awful, cruel ex boyfriend (that will be another story) came to the show which I didn't like at all. Yes, I know it's a free country but for the love of God can you please not come and ruin my favorite band's show? Especially, when it has been months where I cut off all contact with you? We were not dating at the time (we had broken up two years prior) and he just came to keep an eye on me and argue with me before the songs, during the songs, and after the songs.
He doesn't even like punk music.
My friend had to tell us to shut up. A lovely Millencolin show was missed even though I was standing right there in the front row.
The only highlight of it all is when Nikola smiled at me. I wish I could say stuff about the set, but no, because I was too busy trying to defend myself from my ex.
