Look guys... Erik usually use Guild guitars... but what is this?? look at the picture from ozzfest... is he using a Gibson/Epipgone Les Paul? someone else know something about this? have you seen him play les pauls before?  |

Yeah, I was surprised when I saw that too. He probably borrowed it from someone. It has EMG's in it, very unlike Millencolin. Not the first you'd do with a Les Paul Custom. Plus it'd change the sound way too much compared to his normal guitarsound. Maybe he wanted to be a bit more metal, playing at Ozzfest and all.  Maybe he wanted to try something with a bit more chug and chunk than a Strat, so he tried the Les Paul but then settled on the Bluesbird(Guild). |

Yeah its rare Erik used a Fender on this show used a Gibson!

Besides, we're talking about why he'd choose it, not which axe he should use.  But for all I care, he's fine with what he's got. I wouldn't mind a bit more bite and grit to his sound though. Erik borrowed that guitar from Zakk Wylde at Ozzfest (UK) because our equipment didn't get there in time. Look guys... Ok.. Thanks Larzon.. but then I have another quiestion about Erik's guitars... Can you see his bluesbird on the Guild homepage? Or is it just me having problems finding it?

Last time i saw millencolin (heartattack stockholm) erik used a les paul guitar.

Ok.. Thanks Larzon.. but then I have another quiestion about Erik's guitars... Can you see his bluesbird on the Guild homepage? Or is it just me having problems finding it? It's a few years old, the model isn't in production anymore. Guild is more of an acoustic/jazz/blues guitar type of company. |
