I want to thanks you Larzon, Mathias, Erik and Nikola. As the board was deleted you surely missed the new..
There is a month ago, I've sent a mail to Alternative Press, commonly known as AP (http://www.altpress.com). On their message board, the AP press editor asked the moshers to send him a mail personnally if they want to see a particualar band in upcoming issues of their magazine. So I mailed the guy about putting your band (Nikola's solo-project too) and Sahara Hotnights into. A couple of time after, I've received a mail from the guy telling me that he so much loved my pitch and my enthousiam about music that he offered me to become a freelancer for their magazine. I've already receive the first round propositions. AP is the biggest punk mag in America. Their office is in Cleveland, USA. It's an awesome chance for a beginner writter as I am especially since I'm a French-canadian. I am really thanksful to that.
Once again your band helped me to do something great. Last year, I've been offered to write for a French fanzine (http://www.radzine.com). I wouldn't have get this opportunity if your band wouldn't have learned me all I know about music. I've learned everything about it only by reading your interviews. Your band gave me the interest in music more than listening to that. That gave me faith in true music and changed my view on the industry. Your band proved me that honest persons in music can exist. A band with good values who really love music and do alot of things beside it, to help the industry grow. Everything you do mean alot to all your fans and especially me.
I hope to get to meet you again on your next tour and get a little chat with you and maybe write another paper out of it with all the respect I have for your band.
I wanted to share it with you guys and all the community. Anyway, I'm sure you will get to read it more easily than by e-mail on the board. Tack så mycket Millencolin!
musically yours,
/lovekarro xxxx

I think it's thing like that that make a band revelant. It's about what they built around their music. How it cans help to make the world better. They are trues and devoted and sinceres about what they do and we can feel it.
Congrats.

Its what I wrote to the guy about Millen: ---------------------- MILLENCOLIN With now 12 years of existance, Millencolin are ready to put out their 6th album. Millencolin is one of those band that evolute and like to improve themselves album after albums. They still have no label deal for now, their deal with Burningheart records and Epitaph ending after the 5th album. It might be a major debut label for them and they are still quiet about but none the less enthousiasms. They have already wrote and pre-recorded about 20 songs. This next album might be more rock considering their choice for the producer on this one (Chips Kiesbye who already produced some bands like Hellacopters and Sahara Hotnights). Probably one of their lastest b-side will take a part of the next record too. The most of those new songs is written by Mathias the guitarist whom his style takes roots more into rock and hardcore influences. The studio entrance is for August 7th and the whole is due for early 2005. www.millencolin.com or www.geocities.com/millencolinart or www.burningheart.com/news/article.php?id=93 for more infos about. NIKOLA SARCEVIC That is intorducing as well their singer, Nikola Sarcevic, who got a solo-project self-tiltled. He got signed with Epitaph and Burning heart and that will be released in America next July 12th. The name of these album is called Lock-krock-sport. Lock-krock-sport is a name of a soccer team he created with his lost brother back then. It's also a song appearing on the record about. It's a pretty touching album, someway between Bob Dylan and Mike Ness. He is improving himself with alot of musicians participation. There is a good instruments variety for each songs. The single of it is Lovetrap. For more infos: www.burningheart.com/bands/index.php?id=192some mp3: www.burningheart.com/mp3/nikola_sarcevic_-_nobody_without_you.mp3www.burningheart.com/_lib/util/stream.php?p=/51/192/1908.mp3&f=NikolaSarcevic-Lovetrap.mp3 I know there was a little notice in a past issue about (also recording section) so I could maybe expect a future cd review if an article doesnt fit into the AP's frame. --------------------------- That's a part of the editorial director answered to me: "...I like your enthusiasm and wish half my freelancers put this much care into pitching me, so I'm going to add you to my pitch list for future stories. Basically, the way it works is, each month I e-mail all my freelancers 1 or 2 lists of upcoming feature and Low Profile ideas for the upcoming issue, and I ask them to respond with a note about which piece(s) they'd be interested in doing..........." I've learned it pay US$50 for a 200-250 words paper. But Ive just realised that I need to take an English enunciation course. If I have to call some American for those papers, I'm gonna freak out. Need to buy a answering machine to record those phone interviews also..
