Hi everyone, I have great news! I'm not sure how many people here are aware of this, but when I met Mathias and Larzon after a recent Millencolin show (in September), I asked them if they have plans to record a new album (the follow up to Machine 15), and they said yes! Larzon told me that they have plans to record a new album sometime next year, though they're not sure when exactly, since they're extending the Pennybridge Pioneers 10th anniversary tour into 2011. I'm so stoked that Millencolin has plans for a new album, and I can't wait for it to come out next year!

cool! Where have you seen them? I was at their show in Quebec city in September. I saw them this past September in Toronto, for the 10th Anniversary Pennybridge Pioneers tour. That was my first Millencolin show...it was such an amazing night and the best show I've ever been to! It was also great meeting Nikola, Larzon, and Mathias at Nikola's solo show after the Millencolin show. About a month ago I think I was talking to you about meeting Nikola (in a separate thread)...he's one of the nicest people I've ever met, along with Larzon and Mathias! I assume that Erik went to sleep right after Millencolin played, since he wasn't there and someone (I'm guessing Erik) wrote in their tour blog that they were really tired when they arrived in Toronto, considering they drove all the way from Montreal that day and played there the night before! |
