Completely off topic but I had been thinking a lot about Blair. He was just as enthusiastic as Bush to go after these terrorists. In a way, I am not so shocked.
I don't know why I feel so unaffected by these terrorist attacks--and it's not because it's such a far away country. I know someone who lives in London and England is a place that completely feels like home even though I have never even set foot there.
It really sucks though how world leaders resort to elementary school tactics. You would think that they would come up with better solutions for conflict resolution.

this whole thing has been sort of blown out of proportion. why don't we see people getting this upset about the millions of people that are truly suffering and dying in africa and other third-world countries? should we only care when world powers experience a little suffering? more people have died in darfur than in the world trade center, madrid, and london put together and multiplied.
