March 30, Opinion 1: Oh. it's so sweet
It's not better than Life on a plate, but I really think it's better than Home From Home!
I like the harder songs, and the poppier songs the best:
Farewell my hell
Birdie
Biftek Supernova
Ray
Novo
Simple twist of hate
Moosman's Jukebox
then there are some songs that I like a bit less. those are the slower, rockier, hfhstylie stuff, ie. Shut you out, hard times, my name is golden. Those still rock, but those seven I mentioned earlier is the best. Yet. I don't know how they will be in a month.
The lyrics to this album is not bad. at all. Some of them are the best Nikola has ever written. but I still like the ones on LOAP better. And Mathias' song, Novo, is really cool. Absolutely one of the best. Though, i don't understand the second (or first) refrain.
And you are mentioned in the Thank You's Carlos! Good job
March 31stSecond opinion: I think this is a great record. I love it more than For Monkeys, Pennybridge Pioneers and Home from home. And maybe also Same old tunes. but never Life on a plate.
Best: Biftek Supernova
Worst: My name is golden (even if it rocks)
I like Nikolas voice a lot on this recording.
Warning! Spoiler!April 1st, Third opinion: Ok, I love this album. This will be the soundtrack of the spring. Absolutely.
Also, I want the vinyl version. BHR: open you shop!!!
1. Farewell my hell:
i love this track. It's very good. Catchy, fast and kinda dark. Yeah!
2. Birdie:
I like this a lot too. it's not the best, it's not the worst. it's good! Very postive lyrics!
3: Cash or clash:
I like this tune. I like the bass. I like the way Kola sings, a lot.
4: Shut you out:
Woot. What's up with the introguitar? Why does it sound like that? Well it doesn't matter that much. slow song 1. I love the way nikola sings in this one. One of the songs he sings the best in.
5: Biftek supernova:
The best song. It's fast. It's positive. I like, excuse me, love this song.
It's cool how he mentions Pepper in it. i think it's the same pepper as on Pennybridge.
6: My name is golden:
This is not a bad song. But it's not that good either. My least favourite on the album. They could have picked it as B-side and put Bowmore on it!
it's a kinda broing refrain. not as boring as many of my bands songs. but still
a. This song sounds a litte "the hivesy" too me, on the guitars. it's not bad, but, yeah, you know
or not.
b. He mentiones Hard times. I just say: uh?
7. Ray:
wow, this is a great song!! Like it, like it, like it. just plain like it.
8. Novo:
good job mathias! And way to go Nikola on the vocals!
thou, I don't understand the lyrics to the refrain. Does he change his mind during it
?
9. Simple twist of hate:
Short and fast and hard. Love!
10. Stalemate:
I don't like these lyrics. At the same time a love them. I love the sound of Nikolas voice! And the piano rocks.
11. Mooseman's Jukebox:
I love both the verses and the refrain. It's awesome. Nikola really sings great on this song. it's the most catchy song on the album!
12: hard times
i don't really enjoy the lyrics to this one. Kinda negative. And it's a bit too long. What i really love about the song is the very ending. The way it sounds like a vinylplayer ending. Wow!
Great record overall! 9 out of 10.
2nd of April: Fourth opinion:
