i dont want to see millencolin look like meaningless bands like pennywise (i loved them) This was hilarious. Being old it's in your head. If you feel old then you are if you feel young then you will never get old. If you become meaningless like Pennywise then it's because your worn out and due for some changes, new direction but there is old 60 years old rockstars that still rock my sock like Rolling Stone if you know what I mean. They have more energy than I do dammit and I work out almost everyday shit. Surely substances help tho..but still they still able to tolerate it???

pennywise dont suck because of their age. its because they're doing the same thing for years. their sound didn't change at all and their shows are also always the same ("**** bush, yeah" - boooooooring). its what everybody can do - but mc improve theirselves, theres a big difference between those bands.

oh come on guys my grandpa is 75yo and he dance, drinks with friends etc... we are talking about punk music now. It just makes me smile imagining millencolin at 40yo playing for teenagers...i think they will stop before ending like that... I'm pretty sure about it. Nikola will keep his solo career on, Mathias will work as a sound enginieer, Erik at Eckhouse design and Larzon dont know...they are not 20 anymore and I wonder why you all get surprised if this will be their last album. If you talk about rolling stones its another thing, another music...I still believe millencolin are a punk band...and punk in my opinion has a target of people. I agree with Sassa about Pennywise...thats why I wonder why they still keep making music (now they have the new record out on myspace records ahah) since last album sounds totally the same as the first one 20 eyars ago. its not a matter of being old or not...its a matter of being credible

Yeah, this is exactly why Millencolin never bores me, but Pennywise do. Another band that I think is alot like Millencolin is No Use For a Name. The album Keep Them Confused was hated by many, because they did like Millencolin, renewed themself. "ah this is pop, not punk". I thought that too for a while, but then I remembered; they're just renewing, like Millencolin. And suddenly I loved it. It wasn't like anything they had done before, but it was still refreshing to listen too. And greg, I'm pretty sure they'll make one more album. After that, I think it's over.

You,re right Greg. I remember the "hatred" I got when I first brought the idea after Kingwood that the next will probably be their last..I know they signed for 2 more albums when they renew with BHR. I also thing that soon enought they will want to play for a older crowd. As you say maybe as Millencolin it wont be that credible. At the same time..why not? No matter the issue of it I don't really care cause they will have do "their work" as well.
One thing is sure is that no matter how good Erik is with the artwork, I think it has an impact on the presentation which probably target a younger public.
