aaaah, this song just sucks - im sorry to say that.  it just sounds like every other punkrock band too. i cant find this typical millencolin "tune" in this song. there is not the typical nikola voice we love and the catchy rythms they used to have in their songs is missing in this one. they get worst with every album. now they are just a shadow of what they used to be in the past. |

yes...this song is not good...even tho the more you listen to it the more it grows in you but i agree...its not "the millencolin" song.
i still want to believe that the album will kick ass...we've only got 2 songs out of 15 for now...lets have hope

i agree with you all guys. i don't like this song. it's ok, but not for them. they can do much better songs. but i really like brand new game, it sounds like them, really cool. but this one is like... wtf?
anyway i think this cd is going to be great, but maybe not as good as kingwood. i disagree with e20norr; i don't think they get worst with every album at all. i really like kingwood, much more than home from home (for me it's their worst album by far). i like kingwood as i like life on a plate; it's normal their music madurates, but using always their special touch, that millencolin sound. but yeah, i think we all agree on that; detox is a bit... strange. it doesn't sound like milencolin at all... sound like... simple plan or something like that! in some sentences you can hear something like millecolin, but not really. and what happened to nikola's voice?
let's hope the rest of the album sounds more like brand new game!!

Maybe the album will be great, but the worst album for me... Don't know why they did a pop/punk album.... I want song like Into The Maze and Biftek Supernova!!!!!!  I can hardly believe that this is Millencolin!!! I hope they will records some more records and with the old Millencolin sound... |

i dont know...i just have the strange feeling this will be their last record. they signed some years ago a new contract with burning heart for 2 more albums (kingwood and machine15) and they are 34-35yo now...add two years dedicated to the tour and promotion of the album and they will be too old...
brand new game chours explain pretty well this point of view and also the last track on machine called "end peace" sounds a bit melancholy to me...well..we'll see.
but i'm sure there will be harder songs on the album...i remember some good sounds from the videos they made

I hope it's not the last... When i sent Larzon a email about the contract ( 2 album) he said that he is sure that they will records more album... They are not too old  Some punk band get 40 years old and some 50... I hope they will records like 2 other album... |

hello!! wow! the years have passed!! haha
it's been some time since i've been here, i hope everybody is fine!
yeah i've listened the two new mc tracks and i agree with you, brand new game is really great, and detox not too much, but as greg said we have 13 unknown tracks yet!
i hope the mc fans now with the new album come back here, i noticed that the millencolinart.net domain is now property of someone else and i apologize for loosing it and all the mcart material, i have all the website backed up in cds, but i have not excuse for the web server, i was really focused in my personal life, work and stuff that i lost the website.
is really good to see that this forum is kinda alive, and i'll send an email to erik so he can put this link in their site with the other mc sites out there, i will also try to give a new "machine 15" look to this forum, i think that would be cool!
well i can't wait for the new album to come out!
