Next Millencolin single?

so the choice is between : farewell, biftek, my name is golden.
also shut you out...but i dubt moosemans and cash or clash.
then just see what songs from kingwood they play live and you'll have the single!

We are two to prefer Novo. I think it would be a good single. I'm not sure about Mooseman's jukebox sincerely. It's a good song but probably not as a single. Farewell My Hell is a very good song too. The songs that had the most impact on me at the first listening was: Novo, stalemate, shut you out, birdie and farewell. Farewell is so good but it's a bit tragic. I think a more positive song about emotion would have a better impact and a more positive one too. A most accessible radio song play would be the best choice and those I really have a feeling they will reach more poeple are in no particular order are Birdie, Shut You out, Novo and Stalemate. I totally see those songs reach a wide base of people. I totally see them playing at radio repeatidely more than Ray. Yeah probably Shut You out, Birdie and Novo more than Stalemate. Stalemate is awesome but the beginning is too straight, no intro. I see more Shut You Out or Novo than Birdie too. They are both the best choices. Novo is very rockie and shut you out is cute. Deepnds on what they want to give as an effect. Don't listen to the fans, think wider. Their tastes vary from the majority and their taste is not necessary what will touch poeple outside. But the final choice is up to them. That is just my opinion.

I think that they'll go with Novo or Shut you out as the next single, maybe Cash or Clash. Those are the most suitable songs for radio broadcast I think. I would have loved Farewell My Hell, it could make an awesome videoclip, but I seriously doubt it'll be a single (or maybe it'll end like No Cigar).

And for the argument saying that Farewell my Hell couldn't be a single because of the Hell-word, just remember that it's the 4th word in Ray

Finally, I would love Farewell My Hell Acoustic as a B-Side, along with Bowmore and a song in swedish (we can dream, no?)

Shut you out is not very likely since it's the poppiest song millencolin has ever written. It really is far out from their "normal" sound.

The lyrics of mooseman's jukebox, being a big blend of other lyrics, seems to be a typical "important song for the album" (like the song "home from home" for the album with the same name) The song wich has the closest connection to the name and idea of the whole album. Though, these songs rarely come out as singles.

My guess is one of these:

Farewell My Hell
My Name Is GOlden
Novo
Birdie

Wonder what the B-sides will be like. Maybe we could figure out which songs it COULD be from the list that they wrote during the studiorecordnings, you know the one in the studio documentary. Guess theres still the other songs which were recorded afterwards also.. hope they'll be as good as Phony Tony
