Or maybe he likes to indulge in random females he meets on tour. Who knows. Everyone is doing that while on tour. It's nothing new. And that's not something that prevented the other members to have a gf..

This is a funny mystery:
Which guitarist answered this interview in Holland in 2002?
Millencolin Interview - 2002
Last year Millencolin made a new CD (Home from Home) and a few weeks later they came to Holland (Tilburg 013)..before I went to the Groezrock festival in Belgium I went to this show and interviewed MC with the Donots (the interview can also be found on this site). I don't know which member I interviewed but I quess it was one of the guitar playing guys (I don't know his name) but what the hell...this is it:
Why is the style so different from the other albums you guys made? It didn't really change that much. I don't know, we just write our songs and they come up the way they do. So it's a natural progression? Yeah of course, it's always been like that. We wouldn't play music if we would make the same record overtime. I mean we have to make progress too, to have fun.
Ok but what happened to the ska? It's just natural. I don't listen to ska at all... I never did. I just like Operation Ivy and that kinda stuff. We just changed in this 10 years.
How did you come up with this new producer? 'Cause he produced an album for a band called Samiam (Burningheart Records) and we would like to have 'em because that's one of out favourite albums... so we asked him, but he didn't change our songs at all. The songs were ready he just cleared them up. He did do a few things like tell us to use different chords and stuff but it's practically the same as when we went into the studio. He made it sound good.
Why's the album called Home from Home? Home from Home is an expression for you went to your second home. The band has been for 10 years that it become our second home… we do it so much.
Now a question about the lyrics… the song' happiness for dogs' what is it about? I can't really answer that one. Nikolai writes all the lyrics. It's about his personal things.
What are your favourite bands? Uhm… we started with Operation Ivy and Epitaph bands like Pennywise, Nofx, Bad Religion ..nowadays it's so much wider… I listen to everything from pop music to death metal and grindcore. I listen to a Swedish popband named Kent… they're really good. Weezer, Foo Fighters… and old Bad Religion right now.
You've made a clip (Kemp)..do you wanna be as popular as the punk(pop) bands you see on MTV like Blink182 and Sum41? I don't care about that. I mean if we get bigger it's ...I don't know… everybody has a videoclip nowadays. If you're a band that's on a label you get a clip. I think it's good. I mean it's better that kids listen to good music with good messages then listening to Backstreet Boys or Britney Spears.. haha
I like the clip by the way. Can you recall a cool thing that happened on tour once? That's a tough question, ...uhm..one time we played in Florida US, we met a guy who owned a tattoo shop and he wanted us to tattoo our names on his leg and we did that.
That guy was a bit... yeah he was weird. He was really crazy… definitely.
What do you think of Holland so far… you've been here before but still? This is probably the best time we are in Holland. I like it. We've just finished our US tour a week ago. I like it here a little bit more than the US. 'Cause the US is a lot of violence and it's really dirty. I mean this is more like Sweden.
Ok last question already... what are the future plans for MC?
We gonna finish this tour. We gonna do some European festivals in the summer. Then do nothing till November or something... and then maybe go back to here and the US... Australia perhaps.
Do you have anything to say yet? I just want to thank everyone in Holland for their support it's been great to be here.
Thank you
After this I've met Nikolai in the hallway I couldn't fully understand what he said… my recording was really bad but this is what I could make out of it... I asked him about his song 'happiness for dogs':
It's about my family. I've stolen the title 'happiness from dogs' from a Swedish band.
And what about 'Afghan'... it's the only political song on the album?
I wrote this when America started to bomb Afghanistan. If I wouldn't call this song Afghan it wouldn't be called political. Afghan was the working title of the tour but it was changed later.
OK that was it... it was rather funny when I heard that Nikolai had a more Swedish accent than the guitar guy...(damn what was his name again?)...because Nikolai is the singer...but still they did a good show that night and it was fun to talk to them.
Karro: I say Mathias.

Mathias looks 40 in the first pic and Nikola looks like he's got leukemia. I agree he looks like 40 'cause he definitely ressembles Mike Ness. Mike Ness is 43 and in good shape. Nikola fuck, it's my cousin man! Everytime I see this new "haircut" I got a shock.
