my printmaking teacher use to always listen to X when they played across from his apartment in LA. it's not exactly MC, but he's an awesome teacher.
the other day in my photography class, i was wearing my MC sweatshirt. one of my classmates came up to me and asked me if i had ever seen MC. then she continued to tell me that she lived in sweden for almost five years. she loved MC and saw them live many times. it was actually the first time i ever discussed MC outside of this forum.

For pronounciation class last term we recorded ourselves at home, saying some stuff. I thought it was kinda dumb, so I fucked around with it, read the opening paragraph with me playing acoustic guitar and saying all the words in the same tempo etc as the intro to the Number of the Beast. When I got it back, I got a special note saying "Great into, Maiden style! Top notch stuff!" Apparently my teacher played in a Maiden and Sabbath coverband in his teens, so he knew the songs and he'd cracked up over this.  I got an A in his class too. |
