Yeah, we have all to admit it. They are four pretty guys, doesn't matter your preference. I can tell you they probably wouldn't be considered hot n sexy by some tribe in the middle of Africa. So there goes your preference thing.

I found it rather interesting to know about loving a guy in a band. Especially having a cousin in that business. You can be convinced that is the real facts, doesnt matter which kind of music they are involved in, from Punk to Classic:
"I don't think you can ever keep a man who is in a band. It's some cultural phenomenon; you join a band to avoid monogamy and/or growing up. Even if you join a band for the music, once you get a crowd and people are pushing drugs and "pussy" in your face, you can only hold out so long... and your ego gets so big that before you know it, the woman you say you love looks so small beneath your big eyes. At what point do you stop and spend time loving?"
Think about that and don't be DELUSIONAL.

Karro and I spent talking about this on MSN just now.
From my experiences, I have been the drinking buddy, the little sister, the interviewer, the muse and/or the merch girl for some bands. I have seen how the groupies act and sometimes it's quite a laugh. The majority of the time I have sat on the sidelines and watched girls come and go. Don't get me wrong, if they enjoy being used, then that's their cup o' tea.
However, Raygurl, I know that you are 14 but sometimes girls develop these insane expectations/attachments/infatuations with band guys--since band guys are a lot more approachable, then, say, Prince William or an actor. The important thing is to not get lost these types of situations. From what I see, you are attached. Maybe I'll give you the benefit of the doubt since you are still a young girl. Enjoy and appreciate the music. Do any of Millencolin's songs actually evoke emotions where you feel it is near pathetic for developing such love for their art? Or do you think "wow! I love Erik because he's hot!" Let me tell you something: it's a huge waste of time and energy to go to a show just to drool over a good looking musician.
I won't even bother making myself out to be this sketch of perfection because I most certainly am not. Here is a story I would like to tell you:
The only groupie experience I am guilty of is allowing myself to be picked up by a drummer from a fairly well known band. I am so grateful my encounter with him was more family friendly to watch as opposed to some cheap pornographic affair starring Jack Daniel's, bisexual girl friends and a roach infested motel room.
Anyways, I never took him seriously ("I can't stop staring at your beauty"this wouldn't have even worked on me if I was 13). My first love was a 16 year old womanizer (girlizer?) so I grew up pretty fast in the relationship/guy department and developed a fairly good bs radar.
Back to the story, the drummer never spoke to me after our little flirtation, which I don't mind because all he wanted was sex and besides, he caught me on a bad night. Moral of the story? It's not worth being a groupie. Like I said, thank God I was lucky to know what to do and where it was heading. Most girls would throw caution to the wind and deal with it later on.

I have no such story but here is a little one:
It was in '98. I was probably your age. I went to this punk rock show where an actual well-know punk rock band played. There was not many people there so I got noticed very fast by this one singer. He even dedicated me a song called Julia ( a song about a pretty girl in plus) and wanted me to dance and come on stage. Everyone in there were staring at me. I was very shy at time so I didnt happen to do even if I was flattered. He was very good looking. I couldnt dance anyway cause of my ankle injury I just had 2 weeks before. After the gig, I didnt talk to him cause I was moving out the city right after. I imagine what could have happened in that innocent context I was.. But so, sometimes after, I discovered the guy had a girlfriend. That is probably why I became distrustful with guys band after. Hopefully, the destiny was on my side with all those inconvenients at the moment and avoided me of being used and serve as a second stand.

wanted me to dance and come on stage. Gee, this sounds like a deja vu. *cough cough* The time I wanted you to join me and dance with me on stage at Foufs*cough cough* Seriously though, that sounded so fun!

haha yeah. When he asked for me to come, there was already some other girls on stage exhilarating him and exhibing their attributes. Sure the guy wanted to take up a challenge with me. Too bad I have dignity.
