Wich movies have you seen recently?
War of the worlds, wich is a tottaly disapointment movie from what you see on the trailers, the storyline reallly sucked and the ending... well you gotta see it
Sin City, i really liked it, is a really very well done adaption of the comic book, the visual effects are great, the story, the direction and photography ruled too, this movie has a lot of violence, so if you can't hold this thing, you shouldn't see it

I saw Grosse Point Blank on Saturday night but I hardly paid any attention. I warned my friend that we should not drink and do movie night and of course, the alcohol came into the picture and you can imagine that my guy friend and I spent time talking waaaaay too much and listening to good music while the movie was on.
The other one I saw was a few weeks ago. It's called My Summer of Love. It's a very interesting British coming of age film about two girls who share a flirtation/relationship with each other.

my life without me: it was a great movie... although you have to overlook the fact that they made refrence to boy and girl siamese twins (which is impossible) but it was a great movie. other movies you should catch: eternal sunshine of the spotless mindpunch-drunk loverequiem for a dream(which happens to be mathias' favorite)

I saw City of Angels last Sunday. It started kinda ok, but I didn't enjoy the ending at all.
I've seen requiem for a dream. Even yhough it might be true, I thought it was scary, and don't wanna see it again.
I've been meaning to see ...spotless mind. Will do sometime.

I don't watch to much movies since a year cause I don't own a DVD. But since a couple of weeks, I go at Annick's and we watch some since she is pregnant and can't really do alot of things.
Last movie I saw was Alexander. Well, Colin Farrell is sexier in black and straight otherwise it was not that incredible you know. I also see a couple of days before Troy which sticked with the topic.
I went to the cinema with Annick to see War of the World also. It's not really my kind of movie and with a pregnant woman it was not of a good idea. It so noisy that it probably traumatized the foetus. Annick doesnt want to go to the cinema anymore as long as she will be pregnant. The baby was giving kicks until the end of the movie.
I wanted to go see Aurore but I don't want to go alone. It's by far the most traumatizing movie ever I heard. All quebecer knows about the Aurore story. it's as big as Seraphim. It's a classic in the Quebec history. We called her, "Aurore, the martyr child". My friend saw it and everyone was crying in the cinema and stuff. It's the sory about a little girl who has been martyrising to death by her step mom. The worst attrocity you will ever seen has been done on her. She died of being burned by a tison all over her body at 7 years old. Being very sensitive to other pain, only writing it make my heart squeeze.
Requiem For a Dream is a movie that really traumatized me like I already said. I warn you to watch this movie as you live together with a junkie one. I didn't even watch the 5 ending minutes. You will see this movie under a different viewpoint I'm telling you...I guess it's a good movie if that affected me that much deeply.
An odl good one I watched last week was Excess Bagage with Benicio del Toro. You can't never do wrong with him. This movie is one of my favorite. Very simple, adventurous and sexy. What we need of more? I don't know but in the movie matter, I end to be very queteine in my choices hahaha.
Otherwise, most of recent movies suck major asses so I prefer to read tone of books which are more revelant to me.

you know, i loved requiem for a dream when i saw it. i love movies that are off key and off beat, like 21 grams and amores perros (both by the same director). i don't really care for movies with over-the-top special effects because i think they rely too much on them. but yeah... requiem for a dream: awesome.

21 grams...is not that movie with Benicio Del Toro? I couldn't rent it cause I still don't have a DVD My friend saw Sin City and she said it was awesome. Requiem for a dream is hardcore stuff. Weirdest thing is that in my life, not much movie affected me this much. As long as I can remember, it's the only one. I'm very hard to scare or impress in movie stuff. I think it's the only time in my life I was not able to stare at a part of a movie. I got all dizzy and went to the bathroom at the end. Probably cause I related too much to my roomate which is one of my best friend also and at this epoch I was worrying alot about her. I just remember the night she was craving for heroin and she fell inconscious in the appartment. I heard a big "boom". I was forced to go with her to get stuff cause it was more dangerous she fell once again inconscious in the middle of the street. Don't worry, I was the one going with her at the hospital to receive a metadone treatment after and she never touched it again after.

the last japanese movie i saw, was "house of flying daggers" i liked the photography, the fight scenes and the story, i only found it a lil bit slow, and you're right Greg japanese cinema rules!
21 grams it's a crazy movie all in disorder, i really liked it and how the stories fits all together, it's like the american version of "amores perros", the director is mexican, there's also a documentary about 9/11 of this same director, i guess it was on a compilation of 11 short films about 9/11, i really liked his documentary
i've never seen requiem for a dream, though i've heard very good coments, besides here, about it. i gotta see it!
